Vray Express

Hello,

I downloaded the Vray Rhino demo but Vray Express doesn’t seem to work.
I was able to open the toolbar files but I think I am missing the complete Vray Express Package.

The link at the chaosgroup site doesn't work for me

To be able to download V-Ray express you should own a V-Ray license.

Just a suggestion; for someone looking seriously at V-ray for Rhino (like me), not being able to test and evaluate the V-ray Express portion is a big deal. From what I understand (and would like to see for myself) is that V-ray Express greatly simplifies V-ray for Rhino. For someone new to V-ray or rendering in general, it seems like being able to evaluate V-Ray with the ease of Express would be a big selling point. Without being able to test that portion, it greatly tarnishes the experience for potential V-ray customers. I'd be much more inclined to purchase the software that I'm able to try out to its full potential, as opposed to partially trying it out and hoping that the full version does what you are expecting. I've tested Iray, Thea, Arion, Octane and Maxwell, as I'm evaluating if I should stay with Keyshot or move to something else. It's too bad that V-ray doesn't allow you to test something that might make a big impact on a decision like this.

I had to downgrade to vray2 for some period and I need the express toolbar again. Any idea where I can download it from? I don't see it anymore at chaosgroup download section. Thank you

I have license dongle for Vray for Rhino of course. What I mean is that chaosgroup has removed Vray express from their website, I can't find it anymore.

The V-Ray Express tools installer is still available at download.chaosgroup.com - simply make sure the "Show older versions" checkbox is ticked.

If it does not work, make sure you are logged in chaosgroup.com with an account which holds a valid V-Ray 2.0 or 3.4 for Rhino license. Otherwise this particular download page might not be visible to you.
