Sketchup EDU needs V-Ray EDU? or Commercial?

Hi all, first post! I'm slightly nervous about a situation and can not find any answers to this.

Will a full commercial version of V-Ray for Sketchup 2.0 operate inside an academic/edu version of Sketchup?

I have an edu version of sketchup and have ordered a pro commercial version but the license hasnt arrived yet so I'm stuck in this mid-point.

Will it work? Any advice on a workaround if it doesnt?

V-Ray for Sketchup commercial version shouldn't have any issue with the education version of Sketchup.
