  • Ocean

I've managed to create a realistic ocean with Phoenix FD, but in my scene it's just a plane. When I render, it looks amazing.
I want to make large waves and have a ship passing through them, but it's going to be difficult animating the ship if I can't see the waves and how / when they pass by.

Is there any way to do this?
Note, I am using the V-Ray displacement.

    Thanks

in the nightly builds you can see the displacement in the viewport, beside this you can use the wave force to have waves interacting with the ship

Every time I try to register on the ChaosGroup website (not the Forum) it gives me an error .. Will I find the nightly builds in the downloads section, or are they available elsewhere?
If I can simulate the waves crashing against the ship without having to see the displacement in the viewport, I'll figure it out without any problems -- I'm new to Phoenix FD so I'll have to look into this 'wave force' thing.

you have to ask the support, not to register in the site, they will explain you what to do
