this is my first post/question.
im using sometimes vray(its vray 3.0 i believe). Atm i try to use 2 vraydisplacment map modifieres in 3ds max, but it is not possible to render both together.
Im using hdri bmp shader to load in my 32bit displacment map base. After that i choose my tiling pattern which is a regular tiling map on a second vray disp modifiere.
I tried also diffrent methods. Like composite the 2 maps and put it in the vray disp modifiere slot, or put it in the shader slot and checked use object mtl.
I also have read about chosing diffrent map channel? but couldnt get it to work.
Maybe someone got a solution for that. I know render times go up but doesnt matter.
