  • Vray 3.1 black lines around a label

Hi, I have a problem related to image maps with vray maya.
    Vray 3.10 Maya 2016
    Here is my step:
1- Create a vray material for the bottle object.
2- Select a portion faces from the bottle object and created uv map, then a assign a new material for label.
3- For label material inserted two image maps one for diffuse [color] and other for opacity [black and white].
4- When bottle render, the label it surrounded by black lines arround label and uv map edges.
5- On Viewport the label appears OK.

    See attached images:

Any help to solve this problem.
    Thanks,

Is the label diffuse color premultiplied with the opacity too? If yes, you will have to un-multiply it.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

      Thanks, Vlado
What you mean by premultiplied, and how to un-multiply - it's with maya Unpremultiply node or by another software.

It could be done both ways but I guess it would be easier with Maya's Unpremultiply node, just plug the texture into the color slot and alpha texture into alpha slot and then plug the result into diffuse slot of V-Ray Material.

          Hi, svetlozar
I failed to do it correctely, and my workaround i separate the label material from the bottle on a new mesh.
