  • a question about phoenix fd initial state

    i've simulated a scene of initial state of phoenix fd.but i found it doesn't work well.the smoke looks like liquid.i don't know why,can you give me any solutions?

              Hi, this is because of the temperature - it's in Kelvins - 200 is below 0 Celsius, so the smoke will fall down instead of rising up, like in this (quite old) scene:

              If you want to simulate fire, you need to set the temperature to at least 1000.

                  Ah, I see - then just un-check the temperature and it will not try to move neither up or down
