  • Is it possible to disable Indirect Shadows of an object?

I can only find an option for disabling Disable Shadows casted by lights. I wonder if it is possible to disable also Indirect Shadows casted by an object in Vray. Thanks!

      Hi,
Try disabling the option "Visible to GI" from the V-Ray object properties window for this object. This should give you the result you are looking for.

But I still need the object to recieve GI. If disable the option "Visible to GI", it would not recieve GI anymore.

Oh, I did a test again, it works. That's what I exactly need. Thank you, tashko.zashev.

Glad to hear that. We have separate controls for Receive and Generate GI and Visible to GI should be the option you have to choose.
