  • vray demo needs to be better

Just wanted to say the Vray demo really needs to be better.

I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to really test drive the engine when limited to 600x450 resolution, 5 lights, and 200 objects max.

The image is already watermarked, why have all the other restrictions?

I'm already in the process of getting a 30-day license from my reseller and already dealing with account/activation headaches. Seems like it would be better if the demo let people really test drive the software in the first place like Arnold and Renderman do.

We are aware of this and hopefully a more useful demo version will be available in the future.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

good to hear! I just want to render somthing larger than 600x450 to see how the engine handles scaling to 4k or print resolutions

Right now my reseller and Chaos support are trying to figure out why my activation token is not valid nor is my email address or why it won't accept any password I enter.
It's quite a hassle considering I just paid $54 for the USB dongle to be shipped so I try out a legit demo of the software
