  • Use of VRayAerialPerspective kills Phoenix3 particle rendering.

Use of VRayAerialPerspective kills Phoenix3 particle rendering (foam/splashes), but only when "affect environment rays' is checked on. Is there a setting I'm missing to prevent this from happening?

Currently need 'affect environment rays' active to affect VRay_SunSky.

Just wanted to add... this also affects the rendering of PhoenixFDFoamTex

That's right - both are atmospheres and they are rendered one on top of the other. In order to properly render Phoenix particles or Phoenix fire/smoke, you need to check "Geometry Mode" on the Particle Shader or Volumetric Geometry in the simulator respectively. This would disable the approximate scattering, though, and would render quite a bit slower.

      Cheers!
