I usually work with VRay for 3Ds Max, and now I'm testing VRay for Revit.
I'd like to create vrmat files, which can be used in Max and Revit too.
I have exported a few Vray materials from Max to into vrmat files. However, if I render an object with the same vrmat file in Revit and Max, the gamma value seems to differ.
If I set the gamma of the bitmaps to 1 in the VRmat Editor, it looks OK in Revit (looks the same in the VRmat editor too). With this same vrmat file loaded to Max, it looks like it has doubled gamma when rendered. (The original VrayMaterial, which I exported the vrmat file from, looks OK in Max though.)
If I set the gamma value in the editor to 0,4545 it looks OK in Max, but looks too dark in the editor, and Revit.
Is this a bug, or I just have wrong setup?
thank you
