V-Ray RT MacOS with eGPU

Hi there,

Is there anyone that has any experience with eGPU's and rendering with V-Ray RT on a Mac? We're trying to find out if it would be worth it to try this out. A eGPU is cheaper than a Mac Pro and you have more choice (nVidia for example).
I hope someone could share their experience.

We've never done any testing like this before. Will you be running windows with the eGPU? I'd be curious to hear your experience, keep me posted!

The idea is to use an eGPU with MacOS. It's seems to work with iMacs but it's a bit expensive to just try it out. So I was hoping someone else was already using such setup.
