  • Render curves with vray for Rhino

    Hi everybody,

I am trying to find a way to render curves with vray.
I know that in Rhino's built-in renderer there is an option in Miscellaneous
that allows you to render curves
and I have also tried to make every line a cylinder with a small diameter
in order to achieve the same result, but the scene becomes to heavy to handle.
Is there a setting or a material I can use in vray2.0 for rhino5
in order to render polylines and other curves?
*(I even tried to apply a toon material to the lines but nothing happened )

    Thank you in advance,

    Jeff

Are you using the tool ApplyCurvePiping: https://docs.mcneel.com/rhino/5/help...urvepiping.htm

That command should be lower overhead than using just Pipe or Cylinder since it is just adjusting the render meshes.
