I have a job where I render a Refractive 3D object and later in compositing there will be cards inserted into the object.
I thought this is a great oportunity to use Deep Data but I can't get it to work.
What ever I try the deep information isn't effected by the refraction.
Here is a example of the problem:
The checkerboard ob the floor gets mapped to the front of the refractive object.
There is no way to put anything inside or behind the Refractive object.
It works totaly fine if I use Opacity instead:
But this isn't an option for me.
I tried activating "Effect all Chanels" on the refractive shader but it's not changing anything.
Even If u use a blendMtl and mix a Refractive shader with a Opacity shader it still isn't working.
Is there anything I need to change to make it work or is this simply not possible?
