  • V-Ray 3.4 Beta 2 Bugs

Is anyone having the following issues, and does anyone have a solution to any of them please?
(Just started using V-Ray a few weeks ago)

Existing materials including those created with the new V-Ray Asset Editor disappearing from the V-Ray Asset Editor after re-opening SketchUp the next day.

Lens Effects producing large black squares when rendered with V-Ray Swarm (i think i saw that Distributed rendering did not support these effects somewhere.....is it the same case here?)

    Great Update anyway

Oh well, the materials came back after 'Purging Unused' through the [Window > Model Info]

What's with V-Ray taking forever to render the last single bucket?
CPU load goes way way down, then I have to stare at those few pixels......and nothing seems to be happening

V-Ray Swarm UI displays the wrong Host name in the main render machine, and interchanges the Tags of the two machines.

[Since I can't post anything anywhere else]

Is there a way to add .Vrmat materials to the built-in V-Ray 3.4 material library and have them show up in the Asset Editor (material browser) with rendered thumbnails?

I added a 'Wood' folder to the install directory where the material library is, then I added some .Vrmat materials I got from Art Center College of Design : Environmental Design (V-ray for Rhino resources) but none of them show thumbnails.

I guess .Vismat materials are not supported since they dont even show up in Asset Editor browser.

Importing the .Vrmat or .Vismat material into the Asset Editor and then saving it out again as a .Vismat enables the thumbnail and can be successfully added to the existing browser. But do I have to do this for all the materials I have downloaded?

Why can't I post anywhere on the forum or create a new topic, anybody?
