Vray glare effects bug?

Hello all. I've been having a major issue with the vray glare effects. I've never been able to get the effect to work as advertised. Bloom seems to work but I've never been able to get glare going. Any suggestions? Perhaps a bug orore likely something that Im doing wromg..Im using 3.5 and max 2015.
