  • Orthographic render(different from camera view), help.

    Hello Everybody,
i would like an help to set a camera in Orthographic Mode and to understand how it works beetween v-ray and the Orthographic view of maya camera.

I need to take a render of a building to start a videomapping project. I realised that there is a problem between what i see in the scene (camera) and the final render.

    IMAGES:

Basically in the scene i have:
    1. Asset
    2. Camera with ImagePlane (In the image plane blocked to the camera i have the contour image that i need to fit in the same size with the asset)

    Camera settings:
    Orthographic View (enabled)

    v-ray physical camera enabled

    Camera Settings Type Orthogonal

why is it rendering like this? What i made wrong?
    Thank you so much!

Its a bug, Orthographic camera is messing up the image plane. I'll make a note about taht.

A part from the image plane (you can use a custom plane made with a polygon) the final render and the camera view are different. You have to fit your camera manually rendering and rendering different times until the frame is including all the scene you need and this is enough frustating...
