  • Vray trial buggy/ freezing

So I've downloaded the trial version after getting used to and liking the beta version.
Yesterday everything worked fine. But now when I want to render Vray freezes rhino. No Frame buffer window opens. Nothing. Every time I have to force quit Rhino. This happens with Render, Interactive Render and Export Vrscene.

So its pretty much useless at the moment.
Any Idea what I can do to solve this problem? Apart from uninstalling and reinstalling.

Additional Info: I think it has something to do with the Render History screen. Thats the first thing that pops up when I press "Render" and it wont be closed.

If you could not render at all that looks like a licensing issue. What do you see when you type localhost:30304 in your internet browser? Can you share a screen of that?

        Hi there,

I have exactly the same problem where when I want to render the frame buffer screen along with the render history settings screen appears. The screen buffer only stays black and nothing appears to render. Then sketchup crashes and I need to close the file. I've been using the trail version for a few days now and everything was working fine - until suddenly this happened. I've reinstalled the vray trail twice now and still have the same problem. I was planning on purchasing a vray licence - but now I am scared that this problem might continue.

          Hello,

Please go to %APPDATA%\Chaos Group\V-Ray 3.4 for Rhino and delete the file FrameBufferState.fbs . This will reset the VFB history settings and you should be able to render without a problem.
Do you recall any of your actions right before producing the issue for the first time? Any info about it would be truly appreciated!

          Kind regards,
