    is there a way to prevent V-Ray 3.4 fur from penetrating/growing through other geometry?

    Unfortunately the image preview doesn't work. If you want to see the image just right click he "broken image" icon and then click "Open image in new tab".

      Remove the faces that you don't want fur to grow on. As far as I know there's no excluding object filter like Skatter.

        Yep, removing the faces I don't want fur to grow on was my "workaround" so far. I was hoping/expecting a more convenient/practical solution to this problem. Would be a nice and I also think an obvious feature to have in Vray. Anyways, thanks for the answer!
