Hello all,
My company just invested in a new computer to speed up my pipeline. I've got two Nvidia 1080 GTX cards that I've set to render with and a smaller one just for the display. But after multiple tests I'm getting better speeds just rendering off the CPU (Intel Xeon E3-1275 v5).
I custom ordered this build so I could work on other projects to free up the CPU though. I've tried PNG sequence and RT will layer the sequence ontop of one another. With Tiff sequence it just crashes after 3 frames. On top of everything else, the anti-aliasing appears inferior to the V-Ray Adv settings. I've attached an image below. Is there something I'm missing? GPU should be faster for animation, right?
Thanks in advance
