  • VRayClipper - Set material ID

    Hello,
I'm having trouble understanding how the "Set material ID" and "Material ID" parameters of the VRayClipper work. Could anyone explain and give me an example to reproduce?

    Thank you

      Hi filibis,

This was one of the few materials I found on the subject:

        Hello, Daniel,

There are a couple of issue with the MeshClipper material ID parameters. Currently, they only partially work with Section Planes and not Mesh Clippers.
This will be fixed as part of the redesign our devs are doing on the whole Material ID workflow. For now my advise is to use the Material parameter drop-down instead and disregard "Set Material ID".

        Kind regards,
