    Hello Svetlin

sometimes we want the fire explosion can be art directable, so we want do some custom temperature sculpt, ie shooting some particles to represent higher temperature then the fluid solver know where to calculate more fire , like the attachment.

there is a video show this technic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FqzK6zJvwE&t=151s, please check from 19'00

Do you think this is possible to mimic this idea in PH3 ? if yes could you make a simple scene file for us ?

    Thanks.

    Hey,

You can emit any channels from particles right now. Not sure if this will help or if I understand the question correctly, but you just plug the particle system into a source and sim. There's nothing in the video that isn't easily achievable with Phoenix.

    Cheers!

you mean I can plug particle into the temperature modifier slot ? I knew Phoenix can pick a PFlow source as a emitter, but what I mean is :emit some particle only affect temp channel, is that possible ?

You can set the particles to emit only Temperature, just leave only Temperature on in the FireSource.
