    Hi

    for the particles in fire or water source drag type, there is no control to make the particles fade out instead of dying out suddenly. so is there a way to control the opacity of the particles and make them fade away?
    (considering that the particle mode in particle shader node is set to point.)

    Hey,

    Good point! We need to implement this. Adding it to the todo list. If I understand correctly, the Point alpha has to be similar to the Size Multiplier - with an option to animate by particle age, so you'd be able to make each particle fade out based on its age.
