Vray Checker Material not showing in Rhino's Rendered Viewport

Hi, I just upgraded to Vray for Rhino 3.4 and now have a problem I've never had before. I am trying to apply Vray's preset 'Checker' pattern to Rhino surfaces. They render out properly, but they do not show up in the 'Rendered' viewport display. 'Diffuse' custom colors do show up in the rendered viewport though. I am so confused, is their a option I am not seeing?

Hi,

Please note that none of V-Ray's procedural textures (e.g. Checker) will be displayed in the viewport.
