  • Follow path question...

    Hi all,

I've recently start using phoenix...pretty amazed with it's capabilities!

One thing is bothering me, is there a way to assign two follow paths to different emitters at the same time?

    Hello,

I am glad you like Phoenix FD.

I am afraid what you want is not possible currently. The follow paths and the other forces are not connected to the emitters in any way.
What you can do is make each follow path affect different particle group / grid channel by listing them in the Affect text box. You can read more about the Follow Path in Phoenix for 3ds Max here and in Phoenix for Maya - here.
Also if you have more than one simulator in the scene each force will affect each simulator by default. You can change that by using the exclude lists of the simulators. More about that here (Phoenix for Maya), here and here (Phoenix for 3ds Max).

I hope you have a nice time simulating!
