  • Cooperation between Vray 2.0 and Vray 3.0

Hello, does anyone know, how does the cooperation between Vray 2.0 and Vray 3.0 versions work. For example, can I stil render files done with Vray 2.0 in version Vray 3.0?
Before I had the bags because of not compatible materials between Vray 2.0 and Vray 2.3. After working in elder version all materials were missing and the file crashed.
    Thanks

Could you tell me which 3D platform are you using V-Ray with?

Detailed info about the changes between v2.0 and v3.4 can be found at https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...vious+Versions

Regarding the crash, if it reoccurs, please send an email at support@chaosgroup.com with detailed info about the problem - does the scene crash upon rendering or upon opening the Asset Editor. Is this reproducible with other projects as well? Providing us with the project could also help with the investigation. (use Extensions > V-Ray > Export Pack Project to archive the scene before sending it over either by email or through a file-sharing service of your choice).

Firstly I must say I'm very disappointed with Vray 3. Here is a direct comparison between the two versions. The first one is made with sketchup 2016 and vray 2, and the second one is made with sketchup 2017 and vray 3.
