  • Smoke Cascade Sim hangs on frame 1

    Hi,

    I'm trying to simulate a Meteor using two grids, one small grid with a large amount of cells for the Meteor itself and one large grid with low cellcount for the smoketrail.
    Simulating the first grid works fine but when I try to map the smoke channel from sim1 to sim2 using a PhGridTex the second sim won't start. If I disable the texture the cascade setup does work but the smoke behaves different.
    Am I missing something here ?

    Im on Max2016 with phoenix 3.00.02

    Edit: updating to 3.04.00 seems to have fixed my problems, the sim is running and smoke is now behaving in a more predictable way :]

    Yay! We also fixed some issues with moving adaptive containers in 3.04, so now it should be better
