  • Need HELP! New CPU crashes when rendering

    Hi everyone.
I've recently bought a new P.C and each time I'm rendering; I'm getting i Blue Screen.
The guy from store i bought it from says it might be the mother board's not having a "Above 4G decoding" in the BIOS settings.
really need some help on this one.
    that's the CPU specs:

    Intel i7-7820X 8-Core 3.6 GHZ up to 4.3 GHz 11MB

    Noctua NH-D15

    Gigabyte X299 UD4 PRO

    32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz G.Skill Ripjaws V BLACK (F4-3200C14D-32GVK)
    Gigabyte GeForce GTX1080 Windforce OC 8GB (GV-N1080WF3OC-8GD)

    2X Samsung 500GB MZ-V6E5000BW (960EVO) M.2 PCIe3.0 x4 NVMe
(read up to 3500MB/s write up to 1800MB/s)

    Corsair 600Q

    Antec TP750C 80+ GOLD

Can anybody please recommend a MotherBoard in the X299 price and range and that works perfectly with the Vray For Sketchup?

thanks and have a nice one

Apparently it's a voltage issue - check the last posts by jstrob here - https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...p-please/page2

As joconnell already pointed by sharing that forum thread, this is a hardware issue. V-Ray may crash itself or its host app, but does not cause blue screen.

For further assistance, please contact your hardware manufacturer.

          Kind regards,
