  • GI turning off unwantedly when scaling a Vray Light.

    Hi there,

I think I found a vray feature, or something.
I was doing some final teaks for an animation when suddently I came a cross with some frames being darker than others... the cause: GI wasn't working, but the settings were set to ON.

After some tests I found out that:
If you have for example 3 lights with GI on. and one of the lights is scaled to 0,0,0 GI doesn't work.
But! if you then lower the multiply value to "0" of that scaled light. GI works again.

I tried this in a clean scene and its really easy to reproduce the problem. just test it out.
I don't know if its something well known error or not, but, was a pain finding what was the cause of the GI turning Off on a heavy loaded scene... the solution was to lower the Multiply of the light to 0 when its scaled down to 0,0,0.

    Thanks.
Working...
