  • Roof of a room to avoid the sunlight, but you can see through - Floorplan, no shadows of inside Walls

    Hello people,

i need you're help. I am totaly new with Vray3 for Rhino. This are my first steps.

I am creating a floorplan but i dont want the shadows of the inside Walls. I want only the sunlight throug the Windows.

That's why I put a flat roof on it and the material should be completely transparent without color, without reflection. The sunlight should not pass through

Or is there a better way? I dont know how i can create a material like this.

    Hope someone can help me.

    regards Andy

At VfR2 there is a material option for this use - "only in secondary". I suppose so this can be found at VfR3 too. Use it for the ceiling.

I looked for it at VfR3.6 BRDF now, but can't find the option. Any hints?
