  • Issues with using native V-Ray materials

I was modeling a car and trying to apply various leathers and fabrics that are included with the asset editor. However, I was unable to get any of the textures that have bump maps to load into the model. I would click and drag the texture over into the material list, but I was unable to select and "apply to selection". The material also wasn't showing up in the SU material window either. This was only happening with textures that have included bump maps (leather, brushed metal, fabric, etc.)

I should add that I'm using the latest version of V-Ray

I'm also having issues with materials of components that I import into a SU file. For instance, I will edit a component in SU and make sure all of the materials are exactly how I want them. I will then save it and then import into another master file for rendering, but when I import it, several of materials are not as they were when I saved.

I guess this thread should be in the 'Bugs' section of the forum. I'll be more careful about where I post in the future.
