Come on Percy, slow down a bit... you can do better than that. Politicians in south american's republics maybe are more corrupt than USA ones, but at least their countries are so poor that they can't even dream invading other countries because of "moral reasons", and at the end of the day, they cause less harm to the world than USA and your cowboy president. Come on men, watch Fahrenheit 9/11 , the facts are out there.

Sorry for getting political, but war is no fun to me, and as a southamerican person I felt touched by your post.

I only responded to his post. I hate to say he started it, but hey he started it. With regards to iraq, I dont particularly care for the war either. The iraqis dont care enough about liberty to warrant even one american death.

Im not a particularly big fan of our "cowboy" president either, so I dont think im unfairly biased. But I'll defend my country from all enemies foreign and domestic until the cows come home, and HAVE in both the infantry and military intelligence.

Why is it that people dont recognize saddam hussein for what he is? He has an incredible number of similarities to another madman: hitler. When hitler invaded poland, the world didn't stop until he was completely defeated AND deposed. Saddam did the same thing, and all the world did was kick him out of kuwait, then cry foul, when the americans attempted to finish him off like he deserved. Make no mistake, HE DESERVED to be deposed for invading another country.

Both saddam and hitler murdered countless people whom they thought were of an inferior class. Think about it: Jews, Kurds...

And then theres the whole, "were in there for the oil" argument. Do you have any idea how LITTLE oil we purchased from that country? Since we liberated iraq, the average price of gas in this country has risen, not fallen.
