Trying to add extra attributes, list is empty [SOLVED]

Hey!

I'm trying to follow this documentation about extra attributes in Phoenix FD but when I check the attributes list in the attributes editor the list under Phoenix FD is empty. What's wrong or what am I missing? I'm on a trial license.
My goal is to use particles as sources for the fire/smoke source.

The extra attributes are added to the maya object (box, sphere, emitter whatever) and not he fire / smoke source.
Clicking on the maya object will reveal the Extra Phoenix FD Attributes at the bottom of the list
