  • Changing colours

I can't work out how to change colours in an object.
    See video: https://autode.sk/2KMCBP9
I duplicate a material and change it, apply it to the second object but both the original and copy chage colour. The objects are not componants. What am I doing wrong?
The file, if it helps: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjMixmYs8-D8hYc2mSoUIbgrY5XN6A

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing the sample file!

We will be investigating this behavior with our developers and will provide you will feedback as soon as possible. Kindly note that this is already fixed in our internal builds.

In the meantime, could you please provide some additional information to help us resolve the issue?
    - Does this occur with specific objects or even new ones?
    - Are you able to reproduce it consistently?
    - Does the incorrect color application persist after the render process is restarted?

      Hi Georgi,
I've only tried it with the objects in the file that was attached.
It happens every time I try, so is consistant.
It is always the same. The colour is correct on the outside but it affects both the original material and the new material. I'm trying to get a lot of different colour lampshades but they all change. Also the green colour on the inside is wrong - not sure where that comes from.

Could you please follow up on the private message I have sent you?

As previously mentioned, this issue will not be reproducible in the upcoming update (3.60.03).
