  • strange spots in bathroom with glas doors

    Hello

    IMAGES BELOW

I made a batroom with 2 kinds of glas shower doors
one is transparant, the other is sanded glas.

when I render, the lighting goes wild, strange spots everywhere
When I exclude the doors from the lights, everything is oke
except for the sanded door, is becomes .... well, dark

    anyone got a sollution ??

(willing to send the result-image, but cant seem to attach it to this message,
    email me for image techon6@yahoo.com)

You're going to have to show an example, your version, and your settings.

There are way too many different things that could cause what you are describing. And what you are describing can refer to a lot of different results.

your asking alot of people to take the time to email you to get your image so they can in turn try and help you. there are a ton of free image uploading sites out there now. google some and youll be on your way in no time...

doesnt this just sound like the problems with .12? it should be fixed in .13, although. .14 came out today, and .13 still isnt available for download in the demo section... and all of them still say theyre version 1.09 for some reason...

          sorry

He, sorry, just trying with the forum knowledge I have
but thanx, now I know how it finally works

          I have version 1.45

I rendered al evening, and the red encircled parts are the original
          the rest was hopeless effort

              settings

the sanded glas is the reason

if turned off, there is no problem, but why

figured this would be needed as well

                  version

It's the version I got for a 30 day trail

Okay, sound like I have been misinformed

What version should I be using ?

no thats not a legal 30 day trial. The official vray demo will have a watermark on the image. Go to www.vrayrender.com and download the latest beta demo.

                      strange

                      very strange ......

but the beta version, on vrayrender.com it says the official version is 1.45.70 too

                      but I will try, thanx
If I could pull this off, I could convince the bosses to buy the real thing

techon I know where you are coming from as I also had trouble with using the free/demo to convince work to buy vray. I had a lot of dramas getting anything decent rendered initially

show them examples other people have done....

                        the current beta is supreme
