How to scale materials?

I'm new to v-ray and i was wondering how i scale materials, they seem to be about 1000 times larger than they should be.

UVW MAP - I use MAX, but I think it is the same.

You have to set the mapping scale in Rhino's object properties.
Add a texture mapping to your object, such as planar or cube, and set the mapping size as you want your texture to appear. A good reference: https://vimeo.com/58457893
