  • desaturated reflections?

    Just a question, because i'm not sure about... is it possible that some reflective materials desaturate reflections???

    btw, i would like to know if it's possible to desaturate reflections with max...

    I suppose you can use the ColorCorrect texture for this.

          Any chance to see something like a saturation slider in a future release?

          You know, it's not that important, but could be interresting to see it in action on architectural scenes. ... just an idea.

            I for sure second this wish, i just recently made some car interior renderings with red seats that reflected in some aluminum panels on the doors, the client didn't want the red reflections on the panel but I couldn't get rid of them beside doing it in post.

              Hi,
              I use standard material with vraymap in the reflection slot a lot, because I can put an output map and a colorcorrect above. This way you can exactly control how the refection looks (Color, Gamma etc.)
