    hi everyone,
    what is the significant difference, between lightcache 100 amount and 1000? i dont see any significant difference in both image, any input?
    i will submit the image in a while.

    the difference is sample accuracy

    with 100 subdiv. and sample size of 0.01, you end up taking 1 sample per sampled area. with 1000 subdiv. and size of 0.01 you end up taking 100 samples per sampled area (well this is in theory, I don't know for sure if lightcahce is adaptive)

    In a simple scene (box with one light) you might not see the difference, but in general the default setting (1000 / 0.02) is a good balance between sample size and subdiv. to get accurate enough samples. This means that for accurate results @ samplesize 0.01, you need 2000 subdiv. etc.
