    Here a test with SP2 and soften option in BRDF set to -1 : (Clr Tresh set to 0.001)




    Some few bugs still remain into glossy refl... and the render is a little bit brighter into glossy refl... but a way better than sp1...

      Sorry for posting again and again

      Here another test (Clr Tresh set to 0.005) simple vray shader on the plane and the sphere (midgrey color)

      Just to see difference between noise into the vray domelight's shadows...

      SP1 :

      Hard to say where is the best noise pattern

        SP1 render of a Glossy sphere with physcam, sun and sky.
        Adaptive DMC AA, 1-16, no filtering, adaptive amount 1.0, noise threshold 0.001.
        same render, gamma 2.2: notice the sharp reflection termination, and the oddities in the glossies.

        Sp2, same settings, same rendertime (+- 1%)

        and with gamma applied after the render:


        See what I mean, now?
