Light Object Diffuse Subdivs

Am I right to say that Light Subdivs are not applied for rendering method irrad + lightcache.
Light Object Diffuse Subivs values in the vray property are only applicable when photon map is used?

The Diffuse subdivs in the V-Ray Light settings dialog are only used by the photon map, yes.
