Network renders black on some files

This problem just started happening, and only with certain files:

Rendering with IR and LC caches over the network (w/Backburner) to slave; it renders mostly black. If I render in Single frame Modes over the network to slave, it works perfect. The caches also render perfect (over the network) on the Primary machine. I took a file that works, deleted everything, merged everything from the file that doesn't work, and again rendered to the slave with the caches; same problem. What can I do?

One more thing, I pulled the "From Files" through the UNC, not using mapped path.

For what it's worth, I got them to render normal over the network by re-doing the caches; but I created them with a slave machine. Re-doing the caches on the primary computer never worked (whether or not backburner was used). This was a weird problem, no wonder there were no replies. At least I'll know what to do if it happens again. Hope this helps somebody.
