IES lights units?

What units is IES lights expecting ?
Im currently building interiours in cm and heard something about IES expecting measurements in inches.

IF so I guess it would be correct to use an intensity multiplyer like:
1/2.54 = 0.3937 inch (1cm).

Or what do you masterminds out there think?

The IES lights take in lumens as intensity units. They take into account the scene scale as set in the Maya preferences. If the scene unit is set properly in the Maya preferences, you should not have to do any conversion manually.
