why does z depth render out black?

hmm, maybe there is a simple reason for this but my z depth is totally black,
havent seen this before.....any ideas,
scene has vraylights with gi and uses a vcam

Z-Depth is controlled by the min max settings. So Min becomes black and Max becomes white. If your settings dont match your scene you wont get proper z-depth (unless you save to linear float, but it will still be invisible (if below 0) or white (if above 1))
