Hi,
say I have three scenes and three render machines. All scenes (animations) use BF and LC for GI. All textures are locally available on each machine. Network speed is Gigabit LAN.
From our tests it is faster to batch render with DR from one machine (all machine render on the same image) then render one scene on each machine.
Machines are one Core i7 and two Dual Xeon. Each machine has plenty of RAM.
Does everyone made similar experiences? Or is this totally wrong?
Thanks,
Lars
