I want to use motion blur to blur the speed of a car passing in an animation. The thing is....I don't want to blur the camera moving throughout the rest of the animation. Can I motion blur specific objects?
maybe I'll add to this. In viz with scanline rendering you can assign a blur to specific objects in the animation. This doesn't work when rendering in vray. The blur rollout seems only to affect everything in the animation including the camera movement. I want to issolate the blur to a vehicle that passes and keep the camera movement blur free. Is this a photoshop job?
i think there is a render effect motion blur you can try. i personally used to use an old trick from the ooooooold vray beta days when we had zero motion blur with vray. Basically i render everything normally in vray. then when im done i load that rendered version into the background as screen and change all objects to use matte shadow from max, and render scanline with image motion blur
