  • Light maps calculation

In animation mode, if I was to render out my vrmaps from frame 10 to 20, lets say by accident then render out the frames 1-9, would the vrmaps tally to produce a seamless light solution?

Yep, no problem. In animation mode the maps are completely independent for each frame.

Ok great! also, during the render prepass when it gets to half way through calculating the maps can you then set up the scene (export as vrscene) in rendering mode and start the rendering on another pc before the light maps have finished, as the rendering is unlikley to catch up with the prepass.

Yes, this should be possible as the Animation (rendering) mode loads on the fly only the Irradiance maps that it needs respectively to the Interpolation Frame value that you have set for it.
