  • Is BF+LC supposed to render darker than IM+LC?

I experience this result on my scene.
BF+LC renders much darker than the IM+LC
Is this an expected behavior? If so can someone explain me why?

If it is not an expected behavior, wat might be the reason for this?

( In my settings sub-pixel mapping is off.
Clamp Output Enabled/Disabled both results in darker renders with BF.)

IM & LC does a lot of interpolation & smoothing so it's possible that the final solution is lighter.
I would expect the BF & LC to be the right lighting as it is a more perfect GI solution [as long as you have enough subdivisions].

    Hope this helps

This will be true only if you do not use the "Subpixel mapping" option for the color mapping.

        Vlado,
In my settings subpixel mapping is off.

        I didn't understand clearly:
So having a darker render with BF+LC is an expected behavior or no?
