  • Rendering with Raid

    Hi there,

    here a technical Q!

I got in my system now an additional Raid. How should i configure this system to make an optimum worksurrounding (+ rendering )

Is there anything important what u guys can share?

i got a Leadtec 4600 TI in spare. Wasn't there a possibility to push it limits?

Sorry for my "knowing nothing" !

    da mike

RAID? That's for your hard drives. You can set up an extra hard drive for redundancy (mirroring) or striping for a speed increase. Its not going to make you render any faster as that's related to your processor speed and RAM. RAID will allow you to load up programs and edit videos faster though if you set it to striping.
