  • Prepass and rendering with irradiance map

    Hi!

I have a vehicle moving through a tunnel-like environment. My issue is that when using irradiance map and light cache I get that nice flickering in the anim. My initial idea was to just save the irradiance map using multiframe incremental to get rid of the flickering. Then composite the vehicle on top of that.

I havenĀ“t used the prepass calculation of the irradiance map. But as I understand, it calculates an irradiance map for each frame and then blends between the maps using the interp. frames value. I am obviously doing something wrong since it is not really working for me.

Could anyone be so nice to outline the steps for me ? Or point to some good tutorials ?

    Thanks !
