  • Blurry Reflection and AA

I found that Blurry Reflection (direct Comp.) is slowed down by AA values intensivly.

For Example I had scene that rendered with:

    AA -1 min, 3 max: 48 sec.
    AA -1 min, 2 max: 25 sec.

That's much, isn't it. I wonder if we AA could be work together with blurry reflection?
Or simple an local AA by material like the supersampler of MAX ?

    regards,

    robert

    Hey 3dform,

what method of Antialiasing are you using?
Perpixel glossy effects render much faster with simple two level or fixed rate than with adaptive AA.

      Yes,

      I used the addiptive one...

Anyhow, lokal AA would be a great feature...
(Or simple a hint for that in any manual... it least if we get one)
