          Not nearly as comprehensive, but do a search for "Raytrace Basic Parameters Rollout" in the max help file & you'll find some listed there too

                        hmm, thru guessing would you try .18 for silver or .47 for gold? Not that I'm against tweeking but the true ior's are definately a good place to start.

                          that's true, but then we all know that in the end each one of us does what ever it takes to make it look good/right...hehehe

                          IMO, if all you needed to make it look right was to type in a number from a list.....then it would take out all the fun out of experinmenting....at that point you could have you secretary or accountant do it for ya... :P
